With the warm spring breeze, they carried out the first agenda of the opening ceremony: teachers and students from various units formed different squares to walk into the playground together. In this process, each group was just like the proverb goes - "Like the eight Chinese gods each performing its unique genius to try to cross the sea", trying all means to showcase the good spirit and characteristics of teachers and students in various forms. This was not only a feast for the eyes of the distinguished guests and students as the audience, but also a perfect embodiment of the enterprising and positive spirit of Southwest Jiaotong University. The College of Humanities was the 12th group to appear who wore white Tai-Chi suits and red ropes in hands, showing a clear, fresh and refined style. The slogan of "Humanity is the essence of the world. Humanity is the soul of Southwest Jiaotong University" was chanted extremely loudly and deafening. With a sudden sound of a sonorous drum, the neat team split up in an instant, and the big Chinese characters "Humanities 15" (since the year of 2019 witnesses the 15th anniversary of the founding of the Humanities Institute) written in red cardboard came into view. Then, the graceful and melodious Mongolian dance music began to reverberate across the huge playground. Surrounded by the students, a student dressed in national costumes performed the Mongolian dance, which led to a long-standing applause even after the dance ended.
During the two-day competition, teachers and students achieved excellent results in various competitions, showing the elegant demeanor of Humanities College.
